Happy Hollow Rebuilt

Fulton as seen from Churchhill

The Fulton neighborhood of Happy Hollow was bulldozed 30 years ago. So former resident, Carl Kersey, is rebuilding it by hand, in miniature inside his Chesterfied home. The story in the Times Dispatch tell how Mr. Kersy is reconstructing his neighborhood with details such as flower boxes and clothslines draped with tiny bedsheets and tells stories of baseball, cows and tent revivals. The Valentine Center would be lucky to receive this priceless bit of Richmond history.
