Ever been to an American football game and wondered why the game was stopped for no apparent reason? Well you won't find that happening in rugby football. Rugby is a 80 minute war with timeouts to remove the wounded. You want a taste of this, come out and watch a "champaign" match between the Richmond Lions and the Marchwood Dophins (a military team from Portsmouth, England). Champaign means bloody noses, but no broken bones, at least that's the plan.
The game is at 1:00 PM at the Seven Pines field in Sandston which is somewhere off of Route 60 past the YMCA. Sorry, that's the best I could get out of these blokes at Friday Cheers. They were getting pretty plastered (just kidding).
If you can't make it or find it then visit these websites.
