Over the years the Richmond Folk Festival has become one of Richmond's most
beloved events, and each year we wonder how we can top the superb performances
and the overall experience from the year before. It's an ongoing and welcome
challenge for us, for the sponsors who pay to keep the Festival FREE, and for
the thousands of community members
who make the Richmond Folk Festival
happen.
But we think we've met the challenge again! This year, as the
line-up is being unveiled with a completely unique list of talent coming to the
festival for 2010, we are once again "wowed" at what you, our festival fans,
will experience.

Last year 160,000 people people came down to downtown Richmond's riverfront to celebrate the roots, richness and variety of American culture through music, dance traditional crafts, storytelling and food. This year will offer the same overwhelming excellence you enjoyed last year, with a whole new list of performers, artists and exhibitors.
