National Duathlon Festival
April 25th -26th
The sport of Duathlon has a chance to come of age in Richmond as a result of the National Duathlon Festival, an event partnership between the Sports Backers and USA Triathlon. Competitors can participant in the Off-Road or On-Road events, which are open to youth, junior, age group and champions alike. This is a Run/Bike/Run competition that takes place in downtown Richmond. We are in great need of Marshals for the Run and Bike courses and as a Course Marshal for last year's Duathlon, we were wondering if you would be interested in helping out again.
We invite you to go to our website www.sportsbackers.org and click on National Duathlon Festival and then the Volunteer tab. There you will find our online volunteer system, MyVolunteerPage.Com, where you can sign-up to volunteer for the Duathlon. You should have received a username and password for this website previously that you can use or you can create a new profile.
Without the help of hundreds of volunteers like you, we would not be able to support the athletes that participate in this exciting event. Please email or call me with questions and thanks for considering being a part of the 2009 USAT National Duathlon Festival!
