• Arrive early
• Go on a weekday.
• Park in West Potomac Park and use the free shuttle.
• Park at Arlington National Cemetery and take the metro over.
• Breath deeply and become intoxicated with the fumes. Happiness is guaranteed.
• Visit the Jefferson Memorial.
• Stay out of the Tidal Basin. I know exactly how cold it is. :-)
